PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve long life of the component release means including a freshness maintaining function etc.SOLUTION: A refrigerator includes: component release means including a container for storing a volatile component; a decompression storage chamber including the component release means; and decompression means which brings the decompression storage chamber in a decompression state. An inner container which hermetically stores the component is provided at the inner side of the container. The flexibility of the container is larger than the flexibility of the inner container.
