<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polarizing plate improving polarizer's resistance under high moisture and high temperature conditions without deteriorating the polarizer's resistance under low moisture and high temperature conditions. <P>SOLUTION: A polarizing plate includes a polarizer and at least one polarizing plate protective film, and contains between the polarizer and the polarizing plate protective film a layer including 0.01 to 10 g/m<SP POS="POST">2</SP>of organic acid represented by the following expression: X-L-(R<SP POS="POST">1</SP>)<SB POS="POST">n</SB>in which X represents an acidic group with an acid dissociation constant of 5.5 or less, L represents a single bond or a linking group having valence of 2 or more, R<SP POS="POST">1</SP>represents an alkyl group having 6 to 30 carbon atoms, an alkenyl group having 6 to 30 carbon atoms, an alkynyl group having 6 to 30 carbon atoms, an aryl group having 10 to 30 carbon atoms or a heterocyclic group having 6 to 30 carbon atoms and may comprise a substituent group, n is 1 when L is a single bond whereas n is [(number of valence in L)-1] when L is a linking group having valence of 2 or more. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
