<p>The invention relates to a locking assembly (10) for a safety belt of a motor vehicle, including a bolt (12) secured to a strand (14) of said belt, which can be received in a loop (16) which is secured to a structural element of the body and which protrudes substantially at a seat portion of a seat of the vehicle, said loop (16) including an opening (18) for inserting the bolt and an internal mechanism (20) for locking said bolt (12), characterized in that the internal locking mechanism (20) is arranged in a lower internal portion (22) of the loop (16) and in that the opening (18) for inserting the loop (16) is movably mounted between an upper position, in which the bolt (12) is inserted and easy access to the opening (18) is enabled, and a lower locking position, in which said opening moves together with the bolt (12) up to the locking mechanism (20) in order to immobilize the bolt (12).</p> |
