Provided is an electronic control device with which, in an input processing circuit that can connect desired pull-up resistors and/or pull-down resistors to an external input signal and that can set the resistance values of the connected pull-up resistors and/or the pull-down resistors as desired, it can be determined whether the resistance values of the pull-up/pull-down resistors have reached the set values. The electronic control device is equipped with an input processing circuit that has a means for determining whether the resistance values of the pull-up and/or pull-down resistors are within the desired range. Specifically, when determining the resistance values of the pull-up resistors, the pull-down resistors are connected to the pull-up resistors, and when determining the resistance values of the pull-down resistors, the pull-up resistors are connected to the pull-down resistors, and the resistance values are determined based on the voltage divided by both. Alternatively, the pull-up resistors or pull-down resistors are connected to a reference resistor group of which the resistance value is known, and the resistance values are determined based on the voltage divided by both. |
