The present invention comprises: an expandable elastic tube (1) in which water is sealed; a medical instrument (endoscope camera (2)) which is affixed to the front end of the elastic tube (1); a non-expandable tube (3) which is connected in a communicating manner to the other end side of the elastic tube (1) and in which water is sealed; a non-stretchable and non-shrinkable body (4) which is flexible and which is secured to the elastic tube (1) in the longitudinal axis direction; a hollow cylindrical connection tube (5) which is flexible and non-expandable and which is connected to the non-expandable tube (3); and a control device (control unit (20)) which variably controls liquid pressure within the elastic tube (1). The control device (control unit (20)) controls the liquid pressure to expand and contract the elastic tube (1) on the side opposite to the non-stretchable and non-shrinkable body (4), thereby bending the elastic tube (1) to an arbitrary angle.
