<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To support input work by a user of identification information imparted to each of a plurality of documents. <P>SOLUTION: An ID reception part 100 acquires an ID read by a reader 20 which reads the ID attached to a document from the reader 20. A read mode storage part 102 stores information indicating which of a normal mode and a search mode a present read mode is. An ID registration part 106 registers the ID acquired in the normal mode in a read ID storage part 108. A final ID storage part 110 stores the ID acquired last in the normal mode. An ID type determination part 114 determines which of the ID acquired last in the normal mode, the ID not registered last among the IDs registered in the read ID storage part 108 and the ID not registered in the read ID storage part 108 the ID acquired in the search mode is.
