<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sunlight exposure measurement device which is capable of easily measuring cumulative exposure to sunlight including ultraviolet rays and visible light outdoors, has a simple structure, and is easy to manufacture and which is suitable for carrying around and allows a user engaged in an outdoor activity to easily recognize cumulative sunlight exposure, based on which the user can decide on evacuation or taking protective measures.SOLUTION: A carotenoid such as astaxanthin which is crimson colored, exhibits easily recognizable chromatic change, and is resistant to degradation by sunlight and oxygen in the air is used as a sunlight exposure measuring agent. A sunlight exposure measurement device is also provided comprising a support body having the exposure measuring agent adhered or coated thereon.</p> |
