PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hearing aid and the like capable of suppressing generation of howling immediately after power-on.SOLUTION: A hearing aid comprises: a microphone 16; a hearing processing section 10 including a gain setting section 10a giving a gain to a signal e(n) to generate a signal x(n); a receiver 15 converting the signal x(n) into a sound; a feedback removal section removing a signal y(n) generated by an adaptive filter 12 adaptively estimating a transfer function P(z) from an input side of the receiver 15 to an output side of the microphone 16, from an output signal d(n) of the microphone 16, and then, generating the signal e(n); and a controller 11 controlling the gain setting section 10a and an adaptive speed of the adaptive filter 12. The controller 11 sets a gain lower than a gain at a normal operation to the gain setting section 10a from immediately after power-on to when a first time period lapses, and sets an adaptive speed faster than an adaptive speed at a normal operation to the adaptive filter 12 from immediately after power-on to when a second time period lapses.
