<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve energy recovery efficiency from waste, in a refuse treatment system for treating waste containing low-quality refuse such as kitchen refuse (raw refuse, food waste, organic sludge).SOLUTION: A refuse treatment system 1 has: a refuse pit 2 for storing waste W in a front stage for incinerating the waste W containing high moisture organic waste; a liquid reservoir 14 provided on a lower part of the refuse pit 2, for storing organic substance-containing liquid L contained in the waste W; and a methane fermentation tank 19 for subjecting the organic substance-containing liquid L supplied from the liquid reservoir 14 to methane fermentation.</p> |
