<p>The present invention relates to an authentication system using a location symbol and a method therefor. The present invention relates to an authentication system using a location symbol and a method therefor, and authentication system is a system for receiving a user authentication through a certificate authority computer connected by using a user terminal, wherein the certificate authority computer comprises: an authentication processing unit for receiving user information transmitted from from the user terminal and location symbol data and processing the user authentication; a user information management unit for providing a user authentication symbol to the authentication processing unit; and a matrix management unit for providing the user terminal and the authentication processing unit with single matrix data in which a plurality of location symbols are arranged, and the authentication processing unit processes the user authentication by comparing the single matrix data received from the user terminal and the location symbol data generated by using the user authentication symbol, with the single matrix data and the location symbol data extracted by using the user authentication symbol provided from the user information management unit.</p> |
