PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonograph allowing a user to recognize whether all the echo signals are acquired with respect to a scanning planned area in which ultrasonic scanning is planned (an area in which the acquisition of echo signals is planned). SOLUTION: The ultrasonograph includes: an ultrasonic probe which acquires the echo signals by performing ultrasonic scanning of a subject; a position detection part for detecting the position of the ultrasonic probe; a storage part for storing three-dimensional medical image data on the subject; and a display control part displaying the medical image Gb which is prepared on the basis of the three-dimensional medical image data and which is identified to be the same cross section as an echo signal-based ultrasonic image Ga by using the position information of the ultrasonic probe detected by the positional detection part. The display control part is characterized by displaying on the medical image Gb, as an image dividing the acquired area and not acquired area of the echo signal, a colored image A obtained by coloring the acquired area.
