PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector capable of calculating a tilt angle of a detection object which contacts with a projection surface.SOLUTION: A projector includes: a light source 15 for outputting light; a projection unit 30 for projecting an image on a projection surface by scanning the light outputted by the light source 15 onto the projection surface from an oblique direction; a light detection unit 22 which is limited in a detection range of the light within a predetermine range in a direction vertical to the projection surface, the light detecting unit 22 detecting a light reflected on a detection object of the light scanned by the projection unit 30; and a tilt calculation unit 122 for calculating a tilt angle of the detection object in a sub scanning direction from a position of the detection object on the projection surface and a detection frequency of the reflected light in the sub-scanning direction of the light. |
