Provided is an electronic device which carries out discrimination processing with respect to mealtimes on the basis of time information from a clock unit so that it will be possible to carry out processing for determining the caloric content of a meal with a simply input operation. The electronic device includes: an input information acquisition unit (110) that performs input information acquisition processing on the basis of an input from a user; a time information acquisition unit (120) that obtains time information from a clock unit (130); a discrimination unit (140) that performs discrimination processing for mealtimes on the basis of the time information; and a processing unit (150) that obtains caloric content information on the basis of the input information obtained by the input information acquisition unit (110) and performs processing for calculating the caloric content of a meal on the basis of the obtained caloric content information and the result of the discrimination processing by the discrimination unit (140). |
