1. A combination manufactured grill cooker and fireplace/cooker, compromising:
a. a lower fuel burning/cooking fireplace section where access door or doors can be placed, with the lower fireplace section usually containing an air intake damper/ash cleanout; inside rack holders, racks, log holders, fire box, gas burners and/or gas logs, side racks and caster/wheels underneath the bottom; and b. an upper grill cooker section with a lid, grilling/warming rack(s) and usually including handle(s), chimney/air control damper, lid and lid lock down; and c. with the fireplace door section open one is able to place, attend, remove fuel burning sources, such as charcoal, wood, gas burners, gas logs, and food items placed in the fireplace section; and d. when sealable fireplace door(s) are closed and most, if not all, air can be sealed at the door(s) seams, usually by fire resistant material, fuel burning air flow can be controlled by the lower air intake damper and the upper air outtake chimney/damper; and e. wherein the fireplace and grill cooking can be used as separate time use functions or used simultaneously, but control of heat retention and air flow control is usually significantly reduced when the fireplace door section and/or the top lid/chimney is constantly opened or left open; and f. The amount of insulation in the lower fireplace body and upper grill lid section of the combination grill and fireplace/cooker determines how much heat can be maintained, the amount of fuel burned, air flow and how close the rear and sides of the combination cooker can be to flammable material, such as wood siding or wood deck, without significant heat build up to the close proximity flammable material. |
