<p>The embodiments of the present invention provide a method, an apparatus, and a system for switching communication paths. The communication path switch method includes: an access network device receives data packets for implementing the communication services between a terminal and a first media source (101); according to the data packets, the access network device learns that the local switch path between the terminal and the first media source is unavailable (102); the access network device transfers the data packets via a detour path, wherein the data packets are also used by a channel control device on the detour path to control the terminal to disconnect the detour path, and the local switch path between the terminal and a second media source is established, wherein the second media source is in the coverage of the access network device which currently provides services for the terminal (103). The embodiments of the present invention can avoid the interruptions of the terminal communication services due to the interruption of the local switch path between the terminal and the first media source, and ensure the normal process of the communication services.</p> |
