PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shelf member which has simple construction and has improved appearance, and a storage device with the same. SOLUTION: The shelf member 2 includes: a rectangular flat panel shelf body 20 which is placed in a forward opened storage part 10 by projecting a front side part 21 from an opening edge 11 of the storage part 10 forward; and a pair of end part covers 30, 30 which are attached to both side end parts 22, 22 of the front side part of the shelf body respectively and have shapes for covering at least side end surfaces 23, front edge parts 24 and an upper edge parts 25 of both side end parts of the front side part respectively.
