PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for remedying diseases of a patient characterized by visceral membrane defect or parietal defect.SOLUTION: The method includes a step of administering a biofunctional non-pore multi-layer collagen foil biological substrate for inducing the growth of cells in a gap of the multi-layer collagen foil biological substrate to the defects. In an aspect, the multi-layer collagen foil biological substrate forms into a substantially fluid-tight and air-tight layer between the visceral or parietal defect and neighboring tissues. In another aspect, the administration step includes at least one process selected from a group consisting of adhering the multi-layer collagen foil biological substrate to the visceral or parietal defect with a fibrin sealant, and adhering the multi-layer collagen foil biological substrate to the visceral or parietal defect with a surgical sealant. |
