摘要	The purpose of the present invention is to provide a method for stably manufacturing alveolar epithelium progenitor cells from pluripotent stem cells. Specifically, the present invention relates to a method for manufacturing alveolar epithelium progenitor cells, the method comprising: (1) a process for culturing pluripotent stem cells in a culture solution containing activin A and GSK3ß inhibitor; (2) a process for culturing the cells in a culture solution containing BMP inhibitor and TGFß inhibitor; and (3) a process for culturing the cells in a culture solution containing BMP4, retinoic acid and GSK3ß inhibitor.
