<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform the maintenance of a light source in a polarized light irradiation device for photo-aligning with excellent workability, while saving space.SOLUTION: A polarized light irradiation device for photo-aligning 1 includes a light irradiation part 10 including a light source 2 and an optical component including a polarizer 4. The light irradiation part 10 includes a light source support guide 11 supporting the light source 2 in a light irradiation position P1 above the optical component and in a maintenance position P2 away from the optical component in a scan direction. The light source guide 11 changes the direction of the light source 2, so that a light irradiation side is along the scan direction, when the light source 2 is moved from the light irradiation position P1 to the maintenance position P2.</p> |
