The first lens element with positive refractive power has a convex object-side surface. The second lens element and the third lens element have positive refractive power. The fourth lens element has refractive power. The fifth lens element with positive refractive power is made of plastic and has a convex object-side surface and a concave image-side surface, wherein at least one surface thereof is aspheric. The sixth lens element with refractive power is made of plastic and has a concave image-side surface, wherein at least one surface thereof is aspheric, and the image-side surface thereof changes from concave at a paraxial region to convex at a peripheral region.

An optical image lens system comprising, in order from an object side to an image side: a first lens element with positive refractive power having a convex object-side surface; a second lens element with positive refractive power; a third lens element with positive refractive power; a fourth lens element with refractive power; a fifth lens element with positive refractive power made of plastic material, and having a convex object-side surface and a concave image-side surface, wherein at least one of the object-side surface and the image-side surface of the fifth lens element is aspheric; and a sixth lens element with refractive power made of plastic material, and having a concave image-side surface, wherein the image-side surface of the sixth lens element changes from concave at a paraxial region to convex at a peripheral region, and at least one of an object-side surface and the image-side surface of the sixth lens element is aspheric; wherein a focal length of the optical image lens system is f, a focal length of the first lens element is f1, a focal length of the second lens element is f2, and the following relationship is satisfied: 0<|f/f1|+|f/f2|<1.3.
