PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight and small portable type printer, strong against falling and a collision, excellent in impact resistance to impact from an external part, and preventing the occurrence of hindrance particularly to the printing issuance function.SOLUTION: A portable type printer comprises a printer housing 2 of particularly paying attention to the fact of not making external force directly reach a printing part 4 in the falling and the collision by recessing the printing part 4 for exhibiting the printing function being the principal function of the printer more than the other part in the printer housing 2 and the printing part 4 printable on printing paper loaded in the printer housing 2, and a cushion material 28 is adjacently arranged on a printing part arranging area surface 27 of the printer housing 2 for arranging the printing part 4, so that at least the printing part arranging area surface 27 is relatively recessed from the cushion material 28. |
