PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately avoid overlapping of an object with a subject of avoidance, such as a dirt, etc. on a projection surface, which affects the visibility of an object in a projection image by overlapping with the object.SOLUTION: In a projector device JP, a dirt detection unit 14 detects dirt such as dust, etc. from a photographed image of a digital camera DC depicting a projection surface onto which a projection image is projected, and an image processing unit 12 determines overlapping of an object region in which an object exists with a dirt region in which the dirt exists among projection images projected onto the projection surface by an image projection unit 13 on the basis of inputted image data from the outside. The image processing unit 12 executes an avoidance process in which an object region overlapping the dirt region is moved or shrunk until it is off the dirt region. A controller 11 passes image data which was avoidance-processed by the image processing unit 12 to the image projection unit 13 and has the projection image projected onto the projection surface. |
