PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antireflection film which can be inexpensively produced with high productivity, which has excellent reflection properties (low reflectivity) over a wide spectrum and which has no coloring with regard to reflection hues of incident light not only from a front direction but from an oblique direction.SOLUTION: An antireflection film 100 comprises a substrate 10, and successively from the substrate side, a medium refractive index layer 20, a high refractive index layer 40, and a low refractive index layer 50. When the reflection characteristics of the antireflection film are optically designed by using a complex plane of an amplitude-reflectance diagram at a wavelength of 580 nm, refractive indices and/or thicknesses of the substrate, the medium refractive index layer, the high refractive index layer and the low refractive index layer are designed in such a manner that a line segment AB from a start point A to an end point B of a lamination locus of the high refractive index layer intersects the real axis of the amplitude-reflectance diagram. |
