PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sensitizing dye with a novel structure, capable of efficiently extracting current, a favorable photoelectric conversion element using the sensitizing dye, and a dye-sensitized solar cell.SOLUTION: A sensitizing dye for photoelectric conversion is represented by formula (1). (In the formula, Ar represents a substituted or non-substituted aryl group; R-Rmay be the same or different and represent a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, a 1-6C alkyl group that may have a substituent group or the like; R-Rmay be the same or different and represent a hydrogen atom or a 1-6C alkyl group that may have a substituent group; Rand Rmay be the same or different and represent a 1-6C alkyl group having at least two acidic groups as a substituent group or a 1-6C non-substituted alkyl group; X represents an oxygen atom, a sulfur atom or the like; n represents an integer of 0-3; and p represents an integer of 0-2.) |
