PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a register allowing a user to easily perform a setting operation without directly touching the register.SOLUTION: The register for measuring the weight of a measuring object loaded on a measuring tray (loading part) includes: a solar cell (non-contact type detecting means) for detecting an operation by a user; and a CPU 33 (controlling means) for performing a setting operation on the basis of the detection by the solar cell. The CPU 33 performs the setting operation only when the pattern detected by the solar cell coincides with a preset predetermined pattern. |
