<p>Provided is an introducer assembly which is capable of effectively replacing gas within a catheter with liquid such as saline solution and which allows the catheter to be easily inserted through the introducer, thereby improving safety and operability. An introducer assembly (10) for introducing a catheter into an organism lumen has: a sheath (20) for the introducer, the sheath (20) being provided, on the proximal end side thereof, with a first grip section (30) which is formed protruding from the outer surface of the sheath (20) in order to allow the first grip section (30) to be grasped, and with a first connection section (40); and an introduction device (50) which is provided, on the distal end side thereof, with a second connection section (80) which is capable of being connected to the first connection section (40), and with a second grip section (70) which is formed protruding from the outer surface of the introduction device (50) in order to allow the second grip section (70) to be grasped, the introduction device (50) enabling the catheter to be inserted therethrough and being capable of introducing the catheter into the sheath (20) for the introducer.</p> |
