An Fe-based, primary, ultrafine crystalline alloy ribbon having a composition represented by the general formula of Fe100-x-y-z-a-bNixCuyNbzSiaBb, wherein x, y, z, a and b are numbers (atomic %) meeting the conditions of 4≦x≦6, 0.1≦y≦2, 0.1≦z≦4, 7≦a≦18, and 4≦b≦12; an as-cast structure in which fine crystal grains having a grain size distribution of 300 nm or less are dispersed in a proportion of more than 0% and 7% or less by volume in an amorphous matrix; and a thickness of 13-23 μm. |
