<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save power and effectively appeal to customers.SOLUTION: An electronic balance includes: measurement means for measuring weight of a commodity; input means for inputting information on the commodity; detection means for detecting a customer; display means for displaying information for customer; and display control means for performing control to shift to a first state in which power consumption of the display means is suppressed when the detection means does not detect any customer during a preset period, to shift to a second state in which the display means displays information for a customer when the detection means detects the customer, and to shift a third state in which the display means displays information on the commodity acquired by the measurement means and the input means when input is performed by the input means.</p> |
