A non-transitory computer readable recording medium comprising control information formed on the recording medium, which when readable by a reader of a reproducer, performs the steps of the method, the method comprising: forming a first data region at a first region of the recording medium, the first data region comprising a plurality of information blocks which are allocated with address information, wherein the address information is configured to specify which portion of the plurality of information blocks stores data information; and forming a second data region at a second region of the recording medium, wherein the second data region comprises an overlapping zone having logical address values which are identical to logical address values of the first data region, wherein the first data region is physically located immediately prior to the overlapping zone, wherein the overlapping zone comprises the control information formed to execute a reader to read the first data region in a forward direction bypassing the overlapping zone, and to read the overlapping zone in a reverse direction bypassing the first data region, wherein the control information is configured to execute the reader to start reading the overlapping zone in the reverse direction immediately after the overlapping zone is bypassed in the forward direction, wherein the recording medium is authenticated by comparing first data read in the forward direction with second data read in the reverse direction by the reader, wherein the recording medium is determined to be an original copy when the first data are different from the second data.
