PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shifting device having an excellent operability and an advantage in simply finding current position in shift range.SOLUTION: Swinging position of a shift lever 20 comprises: a parking position corresponding to a parking range; a neutral position corresponding to a neutral range; and a reverse position corresponding to a reverse range. They are arranged in the order of the parking position, the neutral position, and the reverse position from front side to rear side in forth and back direction of the vehicle. A dial 22 is integrally rotated with the shift lever 20. Rotational positions of the dial 22 include a reference position and a plurality of advance positions arranged along the rotating direction of the dial 22 from the reference position and respectively corresponding to a plurality of advance ranges. A shift-by-wire ECU 16 switches shift range on the basis of the detected rotating position of the dial 22 and the detected swing position of shift lever 20. |
