PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device that, when a defect caused by a foreign matter is detected, can accurately determine a defect color as a printing color for which the defect occurs.SOLUTION: A defect color determination device 1 stores a defect color determination reference showing a procedure of determining a printing color corresponding to a given RGB ratio in accordance with the tendency of the RGB ratio of each printing color obtained by solid printing. When the position of a defect on an inspection image obtained by photographing a printed matter is identified, defect color determining means 100 extracts a pixel corresponding to the defect from each of a reference image as the image when no defect occurs and the inspection image, calculates the RGB ratio of an RGB variation value caused by occurrence of the defect, and then determines, as the defect color, the printing color corresponding to the RGB ratio of the RGB variation value referring to the defect color determination reference. |
