The present invention relates to an apparatus for grinding food waste which secondarily and tertiarily pulverizes the food waste in order to solve a phenomenon that a drain pipe is blocked by by big chunks of food waste. The apparatus for grinding food waste comprises: a casing connected to the lower side of a sink; a driving motor which is installed in the lower part of the casing and has two driving shafts in one motor; cutting blades installed in the inner upper and lower parts of the casing on the motor driving shafts; connection pipes which are connected through the upper part of the plate and lower part of the casing and connect food waste discharged from the upper part of the casing to the lower casing; a re-grinding unit which re-grinds the food waste ground by the cutting blade installed in the upper shaft using the cutting blade installed in the lower shaft; a circular discharging container (filter) which surrounds the cutting blade installed in the lower part of the housing; and a discharging pipe which connects the upper and lower parts. |
