FIELD: radio engineering, communication.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to communication engineering and specifically to a method, a device and a system for establishing a video connection and video switching. The method of establishing a video connection involves a video replacement server receiving a video connection request sent from a first terminal, and setting up a conference connection to a media server according to the video connection request. The method also involves sending the video connection request to a second terminal and the second terminal setting up a video connection with the first terminal according to the video connection request. The first terminal sends a video replacement instruction to the media server to start a video replacement service, and the media server sends a report on the obtained video replacement instruction to the video replacement server. The video replacement server then controls the media server according to said video replacement instruction for broadcasting a predefined video file to the second terminal. At the wish of the user of the first terminal, broadcast of the predefined video file can be stopped and the video connection between the first terminal and the second terminal can be re-established.EFFECT: meeting user requirements so that video at the user side is not visible at the opposite side by replacing video through broadcast of a predefined video file during video connection by the media server to the terminals.13 cl, 7 dwg |
