Disclosed are an ID-based encryption and decryption method, and an apparatus for executing same. The ID-based encryption method according to one embodiment of the present invention, includes the steps of: receiving, by a transmission terminal, a transmission-side private key (a) corresponding to a transmission-side ID from a key issuing server; generating, by the transmission terminal, a session key (S) using the transmission-side ID, reception-side ID and the transmission-side private key; extracting, by the transmission terminal, a secret key from at least one part of the session key; encrypting, by the transmission terminal, a message using a preset encryption algorithm and the secret key.
