PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode potential measuring device capable of easily measuring an accurate electrode potential of a lithium secondary battery and a method for measuring an electrode potential using the electrode potential measuring device.SOLUTION: The electrode potential measuring device for a lithium secondary battery has a positive electrode including a positive electrode plate, a negative electrode including a negative electrode plate, and a lithium reference electrode including a lithium metal plate. The lithium metal plate has a size capable of wholly covering the positive electrode plate and the negative electrode plate. Each electrode is arranged in the order of the positive electrode/the lithium reference electrode/the negative electrode, in the order of the lithium reference electrode/the positive electrode/the negative electrode, or in the order of the lithium reference electrode/the positive electrode/the lithium reference electrode/the negative electrode, at the inside of the device.
