PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illumination device which is small in size but which can illuminate by emitting illumination light in two different directions while enhancing utilization efficiency of light by using a single light source, and the illumination device is particularly suitable when mounted on a shelf board.SOLUTION: By using a plurality of first inclined surfaces 11i and second surfaces 11j on a light distribution surface 11h, an inner space of a box structure 11bx can be enlarged. Also, by adjusting inclination angles of the plurality of the first inclined surfaces 11i and the second surfaces 11j respectively, light emitted from a single LED chip 12a can be emitted in different directions in a wide illumination range in a well-balanced manner; thereby, both a merchandise article and a price tag placed in different directions can be brightly illuminated. |
