Provided are an apparatus for providing service to a network or a device, and a method for detecting the neighbor of the network or the device, capable of detecting networks or devices actually interfering with each other and managing resources by taking into consideration the actual interference relationship between the networks or the devices so that the networks or the devices can effectively coexist together. To this end, the method of detecting the neighbor of the device including a coexistence manager (CM) according to one embodiment disclosed in the present specification includes the steps of receiving by the CM a request from a television band device (TVBD) network or a device that receive a service from the CM; acquiring by the CM information of a neighbor of the TVBD network or device in response to the request; and transmitting by the CM the acquired information of the neighbor to the TVBD network or the device, wherein the information of the neighbor includes an ID of a neighbor TVBD network or a neighbor device having the interference relationship with the TVBD network or the device. |
