PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dyeing plastic lens manufacturing method that can stably impregnate (fix) a plastic lens with a dye.SOLUTION: A dyeing plastic lens manufacturing method is configured to includes the steps of: impregnating a plastic lens L with a dye; and heating the impregnated plastic lens L. When heating the plastic lens L, a material composed of a material lower in heat conductivity than the plastic lens L is used in a retainer 1A retaining the plastic lens L, and when the retainer 1A is installed on an installation surface S in a heating device, a height H from the installation surface S to a contact position of the plastic lens L coming contact with the retainer 1A is configured to be at least more than 6 mm. |
