An organic thin film transistor array substrate and a method for manufacturing same improve the manufacturing efficiency of the organic thin film transistor array substrate. In the method, a graph layer (3) of a pixel electrode, a graph layer (2a) of a source electrode and a data line that is located on the graph layer (3) of the pixel electrode, and a graph layer (2b) of a drain electrode are formed on a substrate through a patterning process; an organic semiconductor layer (4) covering the graph layer (2a) of the source electrode and the data line and the graph layer (2b) of the drain electrode, and a gate insulation layer (5) covering the organic semiconductor layer (4) are formed through a patterning process; and a graph layer (7) of a gate electrode and a grid line is formed through a patterning process on the substrate formed with the gate insulation layer (5).
