PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game system capable of generating a new item by using an item owned by another user for composition.SOLUTION: In a game system 1 for providing a game played by a plurality of users, one user is presented with items capable of being composited to an item belonging to the one user among items owned by other user, the one user is made to select an item the user wants to composite among the items and the item is accepted. The other user owning the item selected by the one user is notified of a request for composition of the item from the one user, and is inquired whether to permit the composition. A new item is composited on condition that the other user of an inquiry destination permits the inquiry, and the new item is provided to the one user.
