PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet conveying apparatus that allows easy replacement of paper-feeding members where drive force is input from the body of the sheet conveying apparatus.SOLUTION: A paper-feeding unit 3 disposed in a casing of a sheet conveying apparatus includes a paper-feeding roller, and a pickup roller 32. The paper-feeding roller and the pickup roller 32 are rotatably driven by a drive means disposed in the casing, to convey the sheets stored in the casing in a predetermined direction. The paper-feeding unit 3 can be attached/detached to/from the casing. Connection between the drive means and the shaft 31A of the paper-feeding roller disposed in the casing is released when a closed opening/closing cover 231 is opened. |
