The present invention relates to the use of Staufen 1 protein of a host relating to influenza A proliferation. In particular, the present invention relates to a composition for preventing and treating influenza A virus (IAV) infectious diseases including, as an active component, material which interrupts coupling between NS1 protein of influenza A virus and Staufen1 protein of the host. A linker region between RBD3 and RBD4 of the Staufen1 protein according to the present invention is involved in interaction between Staufen1 protein of the host and NS1 protein of influenza A virus. The interruption of the interaction can become an important means to prevent influenza A virus from being replicated, and accordingly, can be used as an important target in developing an anti-virus agent. Therefore, the composition of the present invention can effectively suppress influenza A virus infection, and thereby, prevent and treat diseases caused by the infection. |
