PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide methods of enhancing immune response to an immunogen in a subject, and also methods of reducing the sensitivity to an allergen in a subject.SOLUTION: Immunological and other uses of IMiDs(R) are disclosed. In particular, there is provided the use of IMiDs(R) in combination of an immunogen (e.g., a vaccine) in specific dosing regimen, providing enhanced immune responses from the immunogen as compared to the responses obtained when IMiDs(R) are not used. There are also provided methods of reducing or inhibiting proliferation or immuno-suppressive activity of Treg cells comprising contacting the Treg cell with an immunomodulatory compound.
