PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation device which keeps a high contrast property of an image, suppresses fogging of the image, suppresses deterioration of an image density due to repeated use, and suppresses afterimage phenomenon caused by that a history of previous images are left.SOLUTION: An image formation device includes an electrophotographic photoreceptor, charging means which charges a surface of the electrophotographic photoreceptor by a contact charging method using an application of only DC voltage, electrostatic latent image forming means, developing means, and transferring means, and do not include discharging means. An undercoat layer of the electrophotographic photoreceptor includes an electron acceptability chemical compound, which contains metal oxide particles surface-treated by a coupling agent having an amino group and has an anthraquinone structure. The undercoat layer includes the electron acceptability chemical compound of 1 pt.mass or more and 5 pts.mass or less with respect to the metal oxide particles of 100 pts.mass. The volume resistivity, measured by the AC impedance method, is in a range of 1.0×10&OHgr;m or more and 1.0×10&OHgr;m or less. |
