PURPOSE: A fire sensing and warning system having a bidirectional communication loop is provided to improve reliability of fire sensing and warning actions. CONSTITUTION: A fire sensing and warning system having a bidirectional communication loop is formed with an interface unit as the center (30). The interface unit is connected to a main control panel (40), a relay unit, a power source, all kinds of the sensors, and switches. All kinds of the sensor, the switches, and alarms are connected to one communication loop. The communication loop provides a connection terminal in the interface unit and is expanded to several. The interface unit bonds both ends of lines which communicate with the main control panel and form the communication loop and outputs a signal for controlling the power source and the sensors for the communication loop. The interface unit receives information which is outputted from the sensor and transmits it to the main control panel. The main control panel is connected to the interface unit through a control communication terminal and senses a fire generation situation by receiving all kind of signals which is transmitted from the interface unit. The main control panel warns the fire generation situation and executes a firefighting action by transmitting all kinds of signals for controlling an action of multiple relays to the interface unit.
