PURPOSE: A red mud neutralizing treatment apparatus is provided to maximize the neutralizing efficiency of red mud, and to uniformly neutralize the red mud regardless of the acidity of the red mud by the control of a central processing device. CONSTITUTION: A red mud neutralizing treatment apparatus (100) includes the following: a rectangular container body (10) with an inlet (11) on one side and an outlet (12) on the other side; a pair of screws (20) installed on the container body; a chemical spraying nozzle (30) installed on the container body with the constant interval for spraying chemicals into the container body; a chemical supplying tank (40) connected to the chemical spraying nozzle; a red mud supplying hopper (50) installed around the inlet to supply red mud; a drive motor (60) operating the screws; a balance (51) measuring the weight of the red mud inserted into the hopper; a first measurer (52) measuring the acidity of the red mud; and a second measurer (53) measuring the acidity of the chemicals.
