PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device improved in detection accuracy of an object such as a captured person or vehicle by preventing sunlight reflected on a puddle, metal, or the like captured in a frame image of an imaging area captured by an infrared camera from being erroneously detected as an object.SOLUTION: An image processing unit 4, for each pixel in a frame image input to an image input unit 3, determines whether the pixel is a mirrored pixel on the basis of a range of a pixel value of a mirrored pixel stored in a memory 4a, and sets a mirrored area for the frame image input to the image input unit 3 on the basis of the determination result. An object detection unit does not perform detection of a captured object for the set mirrored area.
