PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of a hot rolling line capable of controlling the temperature of a rolled stock after a sheet thickness change within a tolerance on the exit side of a finish mill while controlling a rolling speed in the exit side of the finish mill during a flying thickness change to be constant.SOLUTION: A control device of a hot rolling line provides: a function for calculating a speed changing amount to calculate a speed changing amount in the rear end of a preceding material based on a set value of the rolling speed of the rear end of the preceding material, a set value of the rolling speed of the front end of a succeeding material, that is to be the rear end side of the rolled stock, and the surveyed speed of the preceding material so that the temperature of the front end of the succeeding material becomes within a desired range on the exit side of the finish mill; and a running changing function for changing the settings of the roll gap of the finish mill and a tension between rolls to settings corresponding to the flying thickness change, based on the speed changing amount, so that the succeeding material may have a desired thickness, after the rolling speed when the rear end of the preceding material passes the finish mill is changed to be constant. |
