Class 44 A door handle having associated therewith a pushbutton, plunger or the like to operate the latch has a bore for the push-button and a housing containing a key operated rotary locking part having a projection or abutment adapted to be moved to a locking position behind or in the path of the push-button or plunger, or of a part movable with the latter. The fixed handle 2, Fig. 3, is fitted with a push-button 3 comprising a cylindrical part movable in a bore 5 in the handle. Parallel with bore 5 is a bore 6 housing a rotary lock barrel 7, coaxial with which is a rotary locking sleeve 11 having an integral radial projection 22, which when turned to locking position, forms a stop for an extension 17 of the push-button. |
