PURPOSE: A connecting component is provided to smoothly attach a subsidiary board to a connecting component using a gull wing-shaped housing connection terminals having tips that are not turned up, and enable subsidiary board connection terminals to be in contact with the housing connection terminals without forming any stubs. CONSTITUTION: A first slope (19), a second slopes (23), and a third slopes (24) constitute the single insertion path for guiding a subsidiary board (B) into a subsidiary substrate containing portion (17) of a housing (11). The subsidiary board is inserted along the insertion path. As the rear end of the inserted subsidiary board is depressed toward a base portion (13) of the housing, the subsidiary board pivots and subsidiary board connection terminals (32) contact with contact points of the housing connection terminals (12).
